Which traffic source for health offers?

    Hi all.

After trying many traffic sources for getting conversions with health offers (from weight loss, dental stuff, diabetes, up to skincare and anti-aging and/or adult stuff like male enhancement offers...), I need some advice on which kind of traffic converts best for PPS offers.

    • With mainstream traffic, such as search ads, Ive seen conversions. But after a while the ad spend always ended up eating up all profit, leaving me in the red, even after successful starts.
    • With adult traffic, no conversions at all, even after sending thousands of clicks to the offers, with and without pre-landers and from various sources such as banners, pops, instream, push...

My first goal is simply to create a profitable campaign that gets me somewhere to about $100 to $200 per da in profit. Can anyone here point me into the right direction, especially concerning what kind of traffic has or is working for you in this niche?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best, Chris

    Hello

I've been running ME offers on adult traffic with some success in the past. The key was to find the right offer (as always) in the right GEO. I'd say running in the right GEO was super important as all the major markets have been quite tough to make profit in, but some emerging markets could perform pretty well. What GEOs have you tried?

Native traffic is often used for nutra stuff and it's definitely working there... but not all networks will allow such offers to be promoted. Have you tried any native at all?

Google search can convert anything, but you are right, the prices per click can be VERY high.

Facebook can work great too, but again, most of these offers won't be compliant so you would need a lot of accounts in order to make any serious numbers there.

One question though: can you tell us how many offers you have tried and what kind of $$$ you have spent on Ads already?

    ==> USA, UK, AU

==> All native ads with health content I've ever submitted on Taboola, Revcontent and Outbrain, have always been rejected. Even after doing the reuqired changes to the ads, like changing images, adapting the ad copy and similar things. This being said, I have never managed to get a single native ad approved.

Google search can convert anything, but you are right, the prices per click can be VERY high.

Facebook can work great too, but again, most of these offers won't be compliant so you would need a lot of accounts in order to make any serious numbers there.

==> Ny FB ad manager has been banned in 2021 and I have never gotten it back, even though I wrote to the support several times. Before that, I had never had any issues with running FB ads for years. But somehow it took one single weight loss ad to have them ban me completely. I'm not saying this to complain. It's just that it's a fact and the latter is VERY frustrating.

One question though: can you tell us how many offers you have tried and what kind of $$$ you have spent on Ads already?

==> I've tried all major clickbank weight loss, prostate and dental offers with high gravity and proven sales conversions. My ad spend has been roughly 17k Euro with revenues against that of about 10k Euro.
Thanks for your comment. The issue is not that I do not know how to drive traffic. It's just that I have no clue which one really converts and I always wonder how on earth these big affiliates are running paid traffic for these offers without the issues that I obviously face while making 5 to 6 figures per DAY with these. Leaves me speechless. Although I have my goals, as I write in my welcome thread here, but right now, I'm not aiming at 5 or 6 figure days. In the first step I'm aiming at achieving a small PROFIT of 100 EUR to 200 EUR per day, aiming at getting my ads approved (no matter where these are run) and that my ad spend is not eating up my profits.

Google search has highest intent of buyers. So your angle is probably different compared to Facebook, where you need a push strategy to make people convert.

Even within Google search you need to adjust text and angles within different levels of intent, when choosing certain keywords/phrases.

If your offers arent too agressive FB might be an option to test out?

I cannot use FB anymore as they banned me from advertising. Never managed to really find out why because I think I know their TOS and ad policies by heart. Didn't find anything in my ads and creatives that would be against their ad policies. But that's the only thing they kept repeating over and over again, no matter what I sent to the support to prove them wrong. Result: Tried to get back my ad manager several times, always unsuccessfully. If anybody knows a way to get this fixed, then I'd be highly interested. :-)

First step would be to find out what triggered FB. Although you know their policies, interpretation is very subjective.

Second, if your funnels are not black hattish, plenty of account providers who can help you out!

Hi. Thanks for your comment. When you say "plenty of account providers who can help out", I have two questions:
    1. Where do I find these?
    2. Even if I find one, won't FB automatically ban this account, too, once I enter a payment method for the ads? Because every payment method I enter into FB will be associated to my name and address.

    Thanks for clariyfing.
