I heart Amy and her tutorials!

I would be nowhere without her 40-day guide.

The amount of newbs she has helped (known and anon) get started in AM has to be astronomical.

Think about the value she has created simply by making these.

    And I still love pops

    With Much Appreciation and Gratitude,

    Amy
I have been on this forum for almost a month and it is difficult to navigate.
Wouldn't it have been better to make a link to the new tutorials, what is the
point of posting links to the old, outdated tutorials, but not linking to the
new one that is the topic of your thread?

It's great that you made the tutorials but please take other people into
consideration when creating threads and posting links, little things like
    that make a big difference.

This is true. The forums are a bit confusing sometimes.

Especially if you came from New Threads or something.

So, here is my contribution to help people find the new tutorial if they end up on this page:

First of all - thank you for the suggestion. I've added a link to the current section, in my original post above.

Something can always be better, and I do appreciate constructive criticism because it drives positive change.

However - please kindly return the favor of being considerate yourself also - and understand that we moderators are sometimes blind to things like navigation, just because we know the forums so well.

To me, because the thread was already posted in the 2021 section, I subconsciously assumed the location of the new version would be obvious. Apparently, that wasn't sufficient.

Also, after spending hours on finalizing the content to wrap up those last few lessons, I was eager to get some rest, so kind of rushed through this announcement post.

It's great to remind each other to be more considerate of others - but it would be better to first remind ourselves of the same.

We all have our differences and shortcomings. But STM is a community that nurtures encouragement and support. There's room for everyone - but only for as long as we're kind and understanding towards one another.

Thank you amy for all these precious informations.
Don't you think that pop has become a competitor traffic source for a newbie to start in 2021?

Hi Zack! Thank you for your kind words.

Yes - pop has become quite competitive. But pop remains the cheapest and easiest-to-learn traffic type. And affiliates are still making money:

    https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...twinaxe-recipe

(Also see @twinaxe's posts - he still runs a lot of pop.)

And once you learn pop, you can explore push traffic and maybe even native traffic. It's way cheaper to learn the basics with pop - i.e. tracking and hosting and landing pages and basic optimization principles - than by starting with push or native directly.

However, if your ultimate goal is to learn PPC (adwords/bing/etc.) or social (FB/Tiktok/Youtube/Snapchat/Pinterest/etc.), then learning pop first won't really help you. For those traffic types it would be better to jump into them directly.

    Hope that helps!

A couple thousand dollars should be more than enough to start if you're running low-payout offers in the <$1-2 range.
